Verdict:

Let's be honest; featuring two of the most popular limited editions to come from Lush in the last year or so, it's no wonder that when combined, these products create a wonderful cocktail. Not only is this one of the cheapest cocktails to reproduce, but the results far outweigh some of the more elaborate recipes that I've tried so far.

Aurora describes a natural electrical phenomenon in which streams of reddish or greenish lights form in the sky, especially near the northern or southern magnetic pole. For this reason, while the colours may be a little different from this real life occurrence, Aurora Unicornis describes exactly what you can expect from this bath.

As per usual, I started out by crumbling the Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar under the running tap. Despite not being overly impressed with how this performed in the beginning, this is a product that has grown on me quite a bit. Offering up a gentle and slightly sweet lavender aroma, this bubble bar is the perfect start to an evening bath - filling the tub with an array of glistening bubbles and turning the water a pale pastel pink colour.

Secondly, I added in half of a Northern Lights Bath Ballistic - a seasonal favourite of mine that has a mild but very lovely floral aroma. Sharing its scent with the popular Christmas Eve Bubble Bar, this bath bomb is stunning to watch. Not only does it spew out waves of purple and yellow foam that rest on the surface of the water and turn this into a marvellous display of colour, but mid-way through it surprises with a shot of bright blue that seals the deal and makes this one of the most beautiful bathing products from Lush.

Together, these two ingredients create a relaxing and rather sensual experience - one that isn't overly strong in scent but one that is soft enough to leave you feeling well and truly pampered. I especially loved the beautiful shade of purple that the water turned once both both products had been added, and even though the bubbles dissolved fairly quickly, I was happy to enjoy the vivid shade of the water by itself.

To round off the floral cocktail experience, I washed my hair with one of Lush's solid shampoo bars and conditioned it with the wonderful Happy Happy Joy Joy Conditioner. This complimented the scent of the bath beautifully and left me feeling super soft from head to toe.
