Euphoria Liquid Perfume

Described by Lush as a 'perfume panacea for weary souls', Euphoria is a light and citrusy perfume, perfect for those who want something that can be worn throughout the day without it being too heavy or overpowering on your body. It's definitely a scent most suited to spring or summer wear, as I feel it's gentle fragrance would get lost in colder conditions. Made from a blend of cheerful essential oils and fragrance notes, including grapefruit, clary sage, rose, lime and neroli, this perfume is a wonderful feast for the senses.

Firstly, it should be noted that this perfume is definitely not one of those 'straight down the line' scents; to describe it simply as 'citrusy', sells it a little short. Whereas a perfume such as The Sun relies highly on these citrus-related ingredients, Euphoria is a rather sophisticated and multi-layered perfume, showcasing many different scents that make up this beautiful fragrance.

Initially, my nose picked out the lime and grapefruit tones, both of which compliment each other and give off an uplifting and refreshing scent with the slightest sour bite. Whilst in the bottle, these two ingredients dominate the overall scent, and at times, this can give the perfume a slightly acidic smell, which is a little off-putting.

However, once the perfume has been applied to my skin, I begin to pick out the different strands that piece this fragrance together so wonderfully. Immediately, I could detect the clary sage, which gives Euphoria a rich, herby scent. As the perfume begins to settle on the skin, elements of the rose oil begin to seep through and give this scent a sweet but earthy finish. Together, these ingredients make for an uplifting and cheerful fragrance that can be worn throughout the day.
Overall, I really loved this smell; it's light and not overpowering, so it makes you feel really refreshed when you put it on. My only negative point is that this perfume doesn't last nearly as long as you'd want it to. I found that the average time it lasted on my skin was 3-4 hours, meaning I had to top up 2-3 times a day. This works out rather expensive if you want to use this as one of your signature perfumes.

I plan on using this throughout the summer months, perhaps adding a little fragrance after my evening shower, just to tied me over until the next day. However, if it's longevity was increased, I would definitely consider using this throughout the day.

  1. The fragrance will remind of you of basking in the warm sun all day, while watching the magnificent light blue ocean. The Light Blue perfume can also conjure up romantic memories of sweet romantic summer nights from the past or future ones that are yet to be had.
